New Features

1. Insert Barcodes & QR Codes — a brand-new tool that turns your cell data into barcodes right inside your sheet. Pick your data (the source), choose where the barcodes go (the destination), and generate them in one click.
   • Supports the most common formats: Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, and QR Code.
   • Adjustable barcode width and height, with cells auto-sized to fit.
   • Option to show or hide the readable text under each barcode.
   • Built-in data checking with three modes: leave values as-is, auto-repair invalid values (pads/trims and adds the correct check digit), or skip values that can’t form a valid barcode.
   • Works across large selections with a progress indicator and ESC to cancel.

Speed & Reliability

1. Many tools are now dramatically faster on large sheets — including when you select an entire column or the whole sheet, which used to slow things down badly.
2. Removed on-screen flickering while tools run, so the screen stays calm.
3. You can now press ESC to cancel long-running operations instead of waiting or closing Excel.
4. Fixed several cases where a tool could freeze or appear to hang on big selections.

Fixes to Tools That Weren’t Working Correctly

1. Data Cleaning and Characters & Numbers now work properly (they previously did nothing in some cases).
2. Extract Text — the “between two markers” option now correctly finds the 2nd, 3rd, … occurrence when both markers are the same character (e.g. text between two “@” signs).
3. Count by Color now correctly counts colors that come from conditional-formatting color scales (gradients), not just plain fills — and it’s far faster.
4. Comments tools now act on only the cells you selected, and the show/hide options behave sensibly.
5. Convert Hyperlinks — re-running a conversion now correctly replaces the previous result.
6. Delete Columns — “delete identical columns” now also finds duplicate columns that aren’t side-by-side.
7. Cells Color Assistant — deleting a saved format now reliably removes the right one.

New Options in Existing Tools

1. Insert Before/After — new option to number cells column-by-column or row-by-row (S/N ordering).
2. Convert Hyperlinks — new option to create links as a =HYPERLINK() formula, which is much faster for very large ranges.
3. Select Specific Cells — more criteria rows, a case-sensitivity option, and the ability to select the entire matching row.
4. Compare Sheets — redesigned with a clean differences report and clickable links that jump straight to each changed cell.
5. Comments — “Hide comments” and “Hide all comment indicators” are now separate options.
